According to the official press release, this program is aimed at companies “operating at the intersection of music, technology and Web3.” Also in the statement he writes:
“They should focus on different areas. Among them: the development of communities of fans of artists, distribution of music based on decentralization, innovative ticketing solutions, research on music-related products, digital and physical collectibles, and the integration of music with interactive technologies and games.
Selected projects will receive funding from WMG and Polygon Labs and the opportunity to receive mentorship and interact with experts from the music and blockchain industries.
Over the past year, Polygon has partnered extensively with leading brands looking to adopt Web3 technology, including Starbucks, Reddit and Nike. In April, the company partnered with Mastercard to release free NFTs and launch the Web3 music accelerator program.
