The release of a stablecoin on the Flow blockchain from Dapper Labs was announced by Circle, the operator of USD Coin (USDC).

The platform is currently running such well-known NFT applications as CryptoKitties and NBA Top Shot, as well as many other dapps.
“The Flow blockchain has become a hotspot for thriving communities of developers, artists, creators and brands creating their own blockchain-based digital media and entertainment services,” said Circle co-founder and CEO Jeremy Allaire.
In parallel with Flow Circle, it supports USDC on Ethereum networks, Algorand, Solana, Stellar, Tron, Hedera and Avalanche.
Now there are about 50 billion USDC in circulation according to the service CoinGecko. According to the statement, more than 1.3 million addresses actively interact with the stablecoin.
