Unstoppable Domains introduced a domain name service for the Polygon network. New user addresses will end in .polygon.

“Domains will provide our community with a digital identity so that users can log into decentralized applications without revealing their personal information, as well as make cryptocurrency transactions without long addresses,” said Saint Shah, vice president and head of development at Polygon Labs.
Representatives of Unstoppable Domains said that their service is available for use in 750 applications, games and metaverses.
The sale of addresses will begin on March 16. The company will also auction premium domains such as gamer.polygon.
In October 2022, the Telegram messenger introduced a marketplace for selling account IDs. The service operates on the basis of the Telegram Open Network blockchain and accepts native TON tokens for payment.
Recall that in early March 2023, Polygon launched a service for identification in the Web3 space called Polygon ID. The initiative will allow blockchain applications to verify user data without exposing their personal information.
