The Ukrainian filling station network WOG has entered into a partnership agreement with the Binance blockchain ecosystem, providing users with the ability to pay for fuel with cryptocurrency through Binance Pay.
“Cryptocurrency settlement has become another alternative tool for paying for fuel. It can be used for contactless payments using the WOG PAY service in the PRIDE application. The integration was implemented in partnership with SettlePay,” the network says.
To pay with crypto using Binance Pay, WOG customers need to follow two steps:
- choose to purchase fuel through the WOG PAY system in the PRIDE application;
- select Binance Pay from the suggested payment methods in the column and confirm the payment in the Binance mobile app.
“Our team is working to offer customers innovative products and services… Connecting the Binance Pay cryptocurrency payment option will expand this line,” said Oleg Kushil, director of the Directorate for Digital Transformation of the WOG filling station network.
As a reminder, Binance Pay is a contactless cryptocurrency payment technology that supports more than 50 cryptocurrencies and allows all registered Binance users to make instant cryptocurrency purchases, pay for services, receive and send cryptocurrencies around the world.
