Users and specialists have recorded the blocking of access to the Tor network in the Russian Federation.
According to the service OONI Explorer, problems with the work of Tor in Russia have appeared since December 2.
Technical expert of the public organization “RosKomSvoboda” Vadim Misbakh-Soloviev said that some providers or equipment TSPU in Moscow, they block access to the “default” Tor servers.
“So far, the use of ‘bridges’ (servers raised by users) helps. But their list is also public, so nothing prevents providers from starting to track the list of bridges and block them after a while, ”he said.
The GlobalCheck project also reports that blocking occurs through TSPU equipment.
Recall that in 2020, the Main Radio Frequency Center subordinate to Roskomnadzor announced plans to limit mesh networks, IoT networks and anonymous protocols.
