According to a report from TechCrunch, Bluesky on iOS became available on February 17th and has already reached about 2,000 downloads on February 28th. It is not yet available for Android testers on Google Play.
The new social network can send messages up to 265 characters, on Twitter a maximum of 280. Bluesky users can mute and block accounts, and more advanced tools, such as adding them to lists, are not yet available.
However, the application will have significant differences from Twitter. The platform aims to create a decentralized social network protocol that aims to make user data free from government influence.
