NFT games operator Animoca Brands reported that the consulting company PwC Hong Kong acquired a piece of virtual land on The Sandbox platform. The SAND project token reacted with an increase of almost 9% within an hour.
At time of writing, SAND is trading near $ 5.82.
Animoca Brands did not specify which plot of land the company acquired and for what amount.
According to DappRadar, over the past 30 days, about 4500 users have used The Sandbox. According to Opensea, over the past three months, the average price of a plot of land on the platform was ~ 2.45 ETH ($ 9665 at the current exchange rate).
