Gaming giant Animoca Brands and its subsidiary The Sandbox acquired German gaming studio Sviper. This brand is known for the Super Spell Heroes arcade. He has been in the industry since 2016. In addition to games, developers create mobile applications, applications for social networks and other software. The M&A process was overseen by an auditor from Agnitio Capital.
Sviper will become another member of the team of the big empire The Sandbox. And their parent company, Animoca Brands, entered the German market through a merger.
However, this cooperation began more than a year ago. So the developers’ products are fully integrated into the metaverse ecosystem.
The Sviper team is currently based in Hamburg and has 40 employees. The studio announced that it is opening new vacancies in connection with the expansion.
