The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the support of one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in Europe, WhiteBIT, launched a chat bot to help Ukrainians around the world.
The chatbot can simultaneously serve several users and provide advice on the most common issues: rules for entering a foreign country, obtaining temporary protection, social security, returning to Ukraine, and consular services.
Its use facilitates the process of obtaining the necessary information by citizens of Ukraine who, due to the war, were forced to leave for other countries and significantly increases the scope and possibilities of obtaining assistance. Now getting information will become easier, faster and more convenient.
“Given the large number of our citizens who need the help of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs abroad, the chatbot is an important initiative that will help streamline processes and provide our citizens with the necessary information in a few clicks. We started cooperation with WhiteBIT last year, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, and implemented a number of important projects for our citizens. This support turned out to be extremely timely against the background of the unprecedented departure of Ukrainians abroad as a result of Russian aggression.“, the Foreign Ministry noted.

The chatbot will complement the activities of the call center, which began work in June last year. During this time, the call center has processed about 15,000 calls. The WhiteBIT crypto exchange provided resource support for round-the-clock call center activities, comprehensive organizational support and assistance for the consular service of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided special training for operators working with citizens’ appeals. They have all the necessary competencies to provide Ukrainians with quality information services.
The geography of appeals is the most diverse and includes 96 countries. Most requests for assistance came from Germany, Poland, Italy, Turkey and Ukraine.
Questions addressed to the call center most often relate to ensuring the rights of citizens and legitimate interests abroad, conditions of stay in different countries of the world (social and medical services, employment conditions, customs regulations, questions about the birth of a child, legalization of documents), etc. .d.
