The developers of MetaMask have made changes to the interface of the browser extension in the wallet release v10.33.
They combined the information in the header of the application (address, connection status, network and account selection) into one line. According to programmers, this minimized “visual noise”.
“We have made it more obvious to connect to the site in the upper right corner so that you can easily see and manage the decentralized applications that your wallet interacts with,” the developers added.
Among other changes, the developers separated the account selection from the main menu navigation and moved the network selector to the upper left corner.
“We at MetaMask encourage safe and secure habits in Web3. We hope that this new user interface will make your interaction with the industry easier and more enjoyable,” the team said.
Recall that in April MetaMask developer Taylor Monahan discovered that due to an unknown exploit, wallet users lost over $10.5 million.
