Guido Buhler, CEO of the licensed cryptocurrency bank SEBA, predicted that digital gold quotes would rise to $75,000 by the end of 2022. He stated this at the Crypto Finance event in St. Moritz, Switzerland, reports CNBC.
“Our internal valuation models point to a price of $50,000 to $75,000. I’m pretty confident we’ll see that level,” he said.
According to the CEO of SEBA, institutional investors are able to raise the price of bitcoin, the only question is the timing.
Buhler added that the volatility of the first cryptocurrency will remain high, but the asset will be able to test new record levels in 2022.
Earlier, the head of DoubleLine Capital, Jeffrey Gundlach, called bitcoin too expensive in light of the upcoming tightening. Fed monetary policy and offered to buy it to wait for the price to drop to $25,000.
