Former Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Nikolai Nikiforov and his partner in Z-City LLC Azat Tukhvatullin through the courts have achieved exclusion of the co-founder of the financial pyramid “Finico” Edward Sabirov from the founders.

According to the files of the Tatarstan Arbitration Court, on December 6, the judge fully satisfied the claim. Tukhvatullin acted as a plaintiff, the third parties were Innopolis Development LLC, Interdistrict Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service No. 18 for the Republic of Tatarstan and Z-City.

Nikiforov’s partner in the company demanded that Sabirov be excluded from the list of founders back in August 2021. The case was postponed several times. The defendant and his representatives did not appear at the hearings.

The details of the court’s decision are currently unknown.

According to “SPARK-Interfax”, “Z-City” was registered in January 2020. The company is headed by the ex-head of the Ministry of Communications of the Russian Federation Nikolai Nikiforov. Edward Sabirov is a key shareholder in the project – he owns 33.4%.

Late 2020 media reportedthat the co-founder of Finiko, with the assistance of the ex-minister, planned to invest in the construction of the city of Innopolis in Tatarstan. According to Nikolai Nikiforov, at the beginning of December 2020, the developer attracted about 1.5 billion rubles out of the required 70 billion. It is not known whether any part of this amount belongs to Sabirov.

Previously discussed on social media the possibility of attracting Nikiforov to a criminal case due to ties with Sabirov. However, the former minister himself denied this.

Let us remind you that a criminal case has been opened against Finiko on the fact of large-scale fraud. It is handled by the central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with employees of the Organized Crime Investigation Department.

The co-founders of the pyramid, Edward and Marat Sabirov, as well as Zygmunt Zygmuntovich, were put on the international wanted list and arrested in absentia. According to the investigation, they left Russia through Belarus and may be on the territory of the United Arab Emirates.

The total damage from the activities of “Finico”, according to independent estimates, exceeds $ 4 billion. The number of victims is at least 850,000 people.
