Tether will create a special fund to provide investments and grants to local startups developing blockchain-based services.
The second step will be to promote the adoption of digital communications and payment systems based on peer-to-peer technologies in public administration and the private sector.
The company also intends to promote educational programs and initiatives to improve the skills of students and specialized professionals in the field of blockchain, stablecoins and P2P technologies.
“This collaboration strengthens Tether’s position as an innovative infrastructure partner for cities and countries around the world,” said Tether’s CTO Paolo Ardoino.
Recall that in May, Tether Limited and the University of Business and Technology of Georgia signed a memorandum of understanding to promote education in the field of cryptocurrencies and blockchain in the country.
