According to the statement, the Onramp Stripe initiative makes it easier for Web3 companies and US customers to buy cryptocurrencies.
At the same time, users and developers can choose one of two options for using the service. The former allows you to embed the Stripe payment widget on your website, while the latter redirects customers to a separate page.
“Onramp is designed to optimize conversion and authorization rates, which increases the likelihood of successful transactions. The service includes built-in identity verification and anti-fraud tools to help businesses comply. KYC“, the press release says.
Web3 companies Brave, Safe, 1inch and Lens Protocol took part in the development of the platform. These projects are also integrating Onramp Stripe into their services.
Recall that in April 2022, Twitter added the ability to pay rewards in USDC on the Polygon blockchain through the Stripe service.
In January 2023, the social network, together with the payment platform, began testing the function of crypto donations.
