Oil and gas chemical company “Sibur” made a deal to place free cash in digital financial assets (DFA) for a period of 30 days. It is reported Vedomosti.
The issue of tokens was carried out on the Lighthouse platform. Sibur invested more than 400 million rubles in the purchase of the CFA.
The tokens acted as an instrument of inter-corporate lending, which allowed the issuer to place debt in the form of a CFA, and the investor to buy it with the help of free cash liquidity with a yield higher than a bank deposit.
The participants in the transaction believe that the use of tokens will create competition in the segment of corporate short-term loans.
Atomyze, Lighthouse, Sberbank, Alfa-Bank, Masterchain, Evrofinance Mosnarbank and Tokeon also have licenses to issue CFA in the Russian Federation.
Recall that on June 16, the Masterchain blockchain platform implemented its first own placement of the CFA for 15 billion rubles.
Earlier, Cryplogger reported that by mid-June, the total volume of tokens issued in Russia amounted to about 4.6 billion rubles.
