- He expressed this thesis during an interview at the Redefine Tomorrow 2023 summit.
- Previously, Ripple won a very important victory in court
- It’s about revealing the Hinman documents
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse believes that the legal “saga” in the case of the SEC lawsuit is moving to an end. The head of the company is confident that the decision will be made “in the coming weeks, not months.”
First about it declared an insider on Twitter with the nickname “XRPnewt”. He also pointed out that the company’s chances of winning in court are quite high due to the decision to disclose Hinman’s documents.
Later it turned out that he made such a conclusion on the basis of the statement of Garlinghouse himself. He expressed the thesis about the completion of the court case in an interview at the Redefine Tomorrow 2023 summit.
Directly, the CEO of Ripple himself has not yet commented on the company’s chances of winning. However, he has repeatedly stated that there is such a possibility. And in recent years, the chances have only increased.
Also during the interview, the CEO of the company made it clear that he does not consider the United States a promising cryptocurrency market:
“If I could go back in time, I would definitely choose another place before the founding of Ripple.”
What’s more, Garlinghouse claims that 95% of the company’s customers are outside the US. But, despite this, Ripple does not plan to leave the American market, at least for now.
In a recent interview with CNBC, Garlinghouse stated that there will soon be no crypto companies left in the US. Local regulators are doing everything possible to “strangle” the segment.
