
Ripple has announced a strategic investment in Blockchain Founders Fund (BFF), a venture capital fund focused on Web3 startups. About it says in a press release.
The partnership is part of Ripple’s global plan to accelerate the adoption of blockchain technology.
“BFF will use the proceeds to support early-stage, high-potential projects that build the infrastructure and products that facilitate the transition to a decentralized future,” the statement said.
The Singapore Fund’s portfolio includes more than 100 Web3-focused companies. These include Splinterlands, Dogami, Krayon, Altered State Machine, Magna and LunarCrush.
“It is clear that blockchain technology has the potential to transform industries and products with real benefits for the global market,” added Ripple VP Brooks Entwistle.
At the end of December 2022, President Palau Surangel Wipp has announced a partnership with Ripple to create a “national stablecoin”. Prior to this, the company announced a partnership with the Lithuanian provider of international online money transfers FINCI.
Recall that in March 2023, the Ripple team launched a testnet EVM-compatible sidechain XRP Ledger with a declared throughput of 1000 TPS.
