OG influencer Paris Hilton continued her crusade into the Metaverse, stating that she sees it as “the future of partying, going out, connecting with people, and connecting.”
On January 25, Hilton made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon where she talked about her experience in the NFT community.
Hilton told Phalon that she would be releasing her first collection of NFTs with Super Plastic on the Origin protocol “soon,” but did not provide any further details regarding the timing. Super Plastic is a vinyl toy and digital collectibles company.
She presented the audience with a collection called “Forever Fairytale”, a collage of memories of her newlyweds, Carter Reum. She then donated the first NFT in the Falonu collection and additional NFTs to each member of the audience.

“I think this is the first NFT giveaway in the history of TV,” Fallon said. On January 18, Super Plastic released its “Headtripz” NFT collection, which included a collaboration with Hilton.
While this will be her first collection, it is far from her first foray into the NFT space. In April 2021, Hilton sold her “iconic cryptocurrency queen” NFT for $1.1 million.
In a November 2021 interview with The Guardian, Hilton said she began investing in cryptocurrencies in 2016 when she “befriended the founders of Ethereum.” Since then, she has amassed a remarkable 141-piece NFT collection, including The Bored Monkey and artwork by Grimes and Steve Aoki.

The pop culture icon has recently become a somewhat unexpected supporter of the Metaverse. Hilton’s “Paris World” debuted on online gaming platform Roblox on New Year’s Eve 2021, where Hilton played a DJ set for a virtual crowd.
“I think it’s important for people to be not only in the physical world, but also in the digital world,” she told Bloomberg Jan. 21.
Paris World features an amusement park, a petting zoo, a nightclub, and a mansion where users can shop for outfits from her closet or spend time on her yacht.
According to Roblox statistics, Metaverse Island has only attracted about 63,900 visitors to date. In comparison, the Roblox world “ALDC Studio”, inspired by the American reality show “Dance Moms”, has attracted more than 30.5 million visitors.
Despite the disappointing statistics, Hilton says he remains hopeful for the island’s future. “I see how Paris World is turning into a venue for various events throughout the year – Valentine’s Day, the Super Bowl, New York Fashion Week,” she said.
