Norwegian company Opera has announced a partnership with the first-level blockchain MultiversX to integrate into its “cryptobrowser”.
Web3 support for @MultiversX is now available across Opera Browsers. Our users can now explore the MultiversX ecosystem seamlessly across Opera Browsers, from support of EGLD and tokens on MultiversX, to Web3 support to access MultiversX dApps.https://t.co/jNAviG5bHH pic.twitter.com/9HDWMyxS0j

With Opera Wallet, users can connect directly to the network through the app and transact with blockchain-based native EGLD, ESDT, and NFT tokens.
Opera will provide fast interaction with the project’s Web3 ecosystem and convenient access to decentralized applications, including the AshSwap exchange and the Zoidpay liquidity platform.
The MultiversX blockchain, formerly known as the Elrond Network, is focused on the metaverse. In November 2022, the chain rebranded to signify its interest in the segment.
“Through the integration, MultiversX harnesses the power of Web3 in a way that makes the web accessible and user-friendly. This is an important step in creating a simple entry point into the blockchain world that provides access to the new digital economy without having to understand the underlying complexities.” declared project leader Beniamin Mincu.
Recall that in December, Opera added the ability to create NFTs through a browser as part of a partnership with the Alteon LaunchPad platform.
The company has previously integrated MetaMask and other leading cryptocurrency wallets.
