The liquidators of the Three Arrows Capital fund decided to auction off a collection of valuable NFTs. About this the manager himself (Teneo company) notified interested investors.

The purpose of the sale is clear – to recover more funds during the liquidation.

Note that this is not about all NFTs. The stewards will not touch the Starry Night Capital collection, which was created by a famous investor under the pseudonym VincentVanDough. The fate of the collection will be decided by the Supreme Court of the British Virgin Islands.

In successful times, the 3AC fund managed to accumulate a lot of valuable NFTs. They have 12 CryptoPunk, 30 Fidenza and 17 Ringers in their portfolio. And also a few works from Bored Ape Kennel Club, Autoglyphs, Chromie Squiggles – and we have listed only projects with a blue chip. Experts estimate the value of the collection at about $6.4 million. The amount may be higher, because in the analysis, experts rely on floor (minimum prices).

One of the most valuable NFTs in this portfolio is Ringer #879. 3AC bought it last year for 1800 ETH (over $5.6 million at the exchange rate at the time of the transaction). The head of the hedge fund, Su Zhu, then bragged about the acquisition and wrote that he “likes this goose”:

Today, the author of the collection, Dmitry Chernyak, announced on Twitter that the goose is being liquidated:

Earlier, the founders of 3AC launched a crypto debt trading platform.
