They said Moskowitz lawyers saw O’Neal driving his car leaving the grounds of his Atlanta home. They threw legal documents at a passing car, the NBA star’s lawyers say.
In April, Moskowitz lawyers said they served O’Neal with the subpoena after three months of unsuccessful attempts. They claim that the transfer process is recorded on video. After a statement by O’Neal’s lawyers, Moskowitz confirmed that they personally handed him the document.
Shaquille O’Neal is the latest in a group of celebrities who are being prosecuted for FTX ads. Among them is former basketball player Stephen Curry, star NFL Tom Brady, comedian Larry David and Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka.
