Microsoft has removed the waiting list for Bing Chat, allowing everyone to use the new search mode. Writes about it The Verge.
Journalists tested this on several accounts. The system granted access to the chat immediately after confirmation by e-mail.
To use the “new Bing”, you must go to bing.com/new, click the “Join a Waiting List” button, and sign in to your Microsoft account. After that, access opens immediately.
The tech giant’s communications director, Caitlin Rawlston, neither confirmed nor denied the removal of the waitlist. According to her, the team is constantly conducting various experiments that can speed up access to the search engine.
“We remain in preview and you can sign up with Bing.com,” Roulston said.
The waitlist change came just a day after it was confirmed that the Bing chatbot was secretly running GPT-4. Also on March 16, the tech giant will hold presentationon AI features for the Microsoft 365 office suite.
Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of the company, also announced an increase in the limits for Bing. Users can now send up to 15 requests per session and up to 150 messages per day.
Two updates: Bing Chat limits moving to 15 /150.

Microsoft previously added the Bing AI chatbot to a new sidebar in the Microsoft Edge browser.
Recall that on February 7, Microsoft introduced the “new Bing” based on ChatGPT. On the same day, the company launched a pre-test of the feature among waiting list members.
A week later, users complained about the strange behavior of the search engine. The company explained this by the fact that the base model “gets confused” when reaching 15 messages during the session.
On February 17, the developers set limits on the number of requests in the chat.
In March, Mehdi announced that Bing had over 100 million active users.
