The UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) will conduct its own investigation into the Worldcoin project. Reuters with reference to a source in the department.
“We are aware of the launch of the project and will be making inquiries,” the ICO said in a statement.
In a comment for Cointelegraph an agency spokesman declined to provide details. He emphasized that he could not share details before the investigation was announced publicly. The very fact of ICO interest in the project was not refuted here, but it was not confirmed either.
