Hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has announced the launch of a trading platform for corporate clients – Tradelink.

As part of the initiative, the company has signed agreements with multiple crypto projects including Crypto.com, Bitstamp, Huobi, Uphold Institutional, CEX.IO, Wintermute, Coinsquare, NDAX, Damex, Bitazza, Flowdesk, and YouHodler.
Future clients include Komainu, TetraTrust, Etana, Crypto Garage, Damex and Kryptodian.
The Ledger platform brings together custodians, brokers and exchanges. The service will not charge commission for transactions. At the same time, it is not necessary to store funds on Tradelink in order to make transactions.
“We are building a future-oriented solution that will provide Ledger Enterprise customers with the flexibility and security to enable institutions to mitigate risks to their business,” said Pascal Gauthier, CEO of the firm.
Ledger stressed the growing need for such platforms for cryptocurrency trading amid security and regulatory concerns.
Collaboration with several custodial firms means that companies using the new network are not at risk of blocking, the company said.
“The innovative Ledger trading technology not only enhances security, but also helps create a regulatory-friendly environment for institutional trading,” said Crypto.com President and COO Eric Anziani.
Recall that in May, Ledger introduced a private key recovery function for backup access to the Nano X hardware wallet. Gauthier later promised to disclose the source code of the software amid concerns about the security of the company’s products.
