French fashion brand Lacoste has introduced an updated program Lacoste Web3. They are building a gamified ecosystem that will allow token holders to participate in various NFT-related activities.
Last summer, Lacoste introduced the UNDW3 project, which included 11,212 NFT avatars with a branded crocodile. Now NFT UNDW3 owners will be able to connect their crypto wallets to the new Lacoste UNDW3 portal. There will be various events, quests, sweepstakes, as well as interactive conversations with Lacoste representatives.
In addition, the UNDW3 wallet and the user’s Discord account will receive points for activity. As points accumulate, the rarity of their NFTs will increase. This means that the value of such tokens will also grow,” Lacoste writes in its press release.
“The UNDW3 map is much more than just a JPEG; this is a dynamic NFT that reflects your activity in our community. All Genesis Pass NFTs were identical and had no rarity. Now the rarity level of your UNDW3 card is in your hands”
Lacoste hopes dynamic NFTs will become a long-term digital trend for companies looking to get closer to customers. Interestingly, another fashion brand, Adidas, is also betting on dynamic NFTs. They will be used for the company’s metaverse.
