On April 26, a Twitter user identified a wallet that was creating multiple tokens per day for two years.

Another community member indicated that the address of the likely scammer is “owned and controlled” by KuCoin. At the moment, Etherscan is already tagged its like phishing.
In a conversation with the publication, the crypto exchange confirmed the ownership of the wallet. However, the CEO of the company, Johnny Liu, noted that the platform will not block the user until it receives an appropriate order from the authorities.
“When the reporting party provides legal documents, we will assist and cooperate with law enforcement to take risk control measures in accordance with our user agreement and the laws of the Seychelles,” explained Liu.
The company emphasized that if members of the community encounter any suspicious activity, they must report it to the police and provide evidence to the exchange team.
Previously, an unknown person hacked the KuCoin Twitter account, resulting in a loss of $22,628 among users. Representatives of the platform stressed that the funds on the exchange are safe.
Recall that in April, on-chain analyst ZachXBT discovered an address that created 114 “fraudulent” meme tokens within 45 days.
