Singer Justin Bieber gave away 500 ETH (over $1.3 million) to buy NFTs from the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) collection.

The purchase was made on the OpenSea marketplace. Account Justin Bieber NFTS bought BAYC #3001. Many believe that this nickname belongs to the Canadian singer. He has 750 NFTs on his wallet, including inBetweeners #3777, pictured in the artist’s Twitter profile photo.

Based on information Rarity.Tools, this NFT has a number of features. A black T-shirt is found only in 3.3% of the BAYC collection tokens, “sad” eyes – in 5.5%.

According to the data opensea, the minimum value of BAYC tokens is 106.9 ETH (~$277,940). The amount that Bieber paid is the 7th largest for a collection within the marketplace.

The singer has also purchased Doodle tokens in the last 24 hours #8426 (13 ETH, ~$33,800), Killer GF #7135 (1.89 ETH, ~$4900) and Woman #7853 (16 ETH, ~$41,600).

Before that, we wrote that NFTs from the BAYC collection acquired by American rapper Eminem. He paid 123.45 ETH for the token (over $450,000 at the exchange rate at that time).
