Japanese company Line announced launch of the NFT marketplace on April 13, 2022.

The implementation of the LINE NFT platform was carried out on the basis of the company’s own network LINE Blockchain. Users will store assets in a wallet BITMAX Wallet.

The plans for the launch date of the marketplace also include more than 100 NFTs from the collections of 17 partner creators.

Among them is the largest Japanese entertainment conglomerate Yoshimoto Kogyo, which will offer unique videos from collaborating performers and artists.

The company will distribute some of the coins for free as part of the platform’s marketing campaign launched on March 24.

In the future, it is expected to be able to use NFTs as avatars, prizes, and other use cases in the messenger ecosystem.

In its current structure, Line is owned by Z Holdings, a subsidiary of SoftBank and Naver Corporation. In March the firm announced the launch in the second quarter of the Dosi global NFT platform, which will immediately become available in 180 countries.
