Investors in Logan Paul’s troubled NFT gaming project CryptoZoo are reportedly still waiting for any concrete details about the 1,000 Ether (ETH) refund (worth $1.93 million at current prices) that was promised back in January.
In a YouTube video posted on June 30, “internet detective” Coffezilla — the person who originally exposed the project’s problems in December 2022 — claimed that Paul’s communication with the CryptoZoo community has dried up in recent months:
“It’s been six months, so here’s the sequel. Logan Paul didn’t repay his victims, he hasn’t spoken about it since he first announced he was going to repay them. And worst of all, he doesn’t seem to have a plan to return anyone’s money.”
“How do I know that? Well, because I’ve been asking Logan about this people-reimbursement plan, all the time, behind the scenes,” he added.
CryptoZoo was launched in September 2021 and was supposed to be an NFT breeding game offering opportunities to earn ZOO and NFT tokens, with Paul himself describing it as “a really fun game that makes you money.”
However, with lackluster NFT drawings seemingly copied from Adobe Stock images, price cuts for NFT and ZOO tokens, and an apparent failure to meet the plan, investors grew unhappy by the end of 2022.
Faced with strong backlash from the community following a series of exposé videos of Coffezilla on CryptoZoo, Paul eventually announced a plan to refund investors on January 14, while also promising to deliver on the project’s roadmap.
However, that hasn’t stopped CryptoZoo and Paul from facing a class action lawsuit next month.

In the latest video, Coffeezilla shared screen shots of an email exchange with Paul’s attorney Jeffrey Neiman of MNR law firm that appears to suggest a specific plan has yet to be worked out.
“We present Logan Paul. Mr. Paul has briefed us on your message regarding the status of the CryptoZoo Egg Buyback. Mr. Paul remains committed to this process. We are working with Mr. Paul to determine the best way to achieve this goal,” the email reads.

Coffezilla raised questions in relation to this statement, highlighting the ease of paying blockchain developers to quickly write the code for the return process, as well as claiming that Paul is clearly rich enough to help investors.
– So you’re still at the blackboard? Guys, this is the statement you say when you don’t have a plan or you’re procrastinating, […] I mean, Logan was there in January, he was judging.”
“I’m supposed to believe that six months later you guys still haven’t figured it out?” he added.
Logan Paul really is the type of dude to thank you when you expose his scam, then block you when you remind him to pay up. pic.twitter.com/wI1o3ilD5S
