- The problems affected blockchain-based projects and their users
- Several of them have already suspended their activities.
HBAR Foundation, the organization behind the Hedera blockchain, reported about network problems. These breaches affect various decentralized applications and their users.
Due to such problems, several blockchain-based projects have already stopped their activities. Hashport said it suspended the service due to smart contract violations. And DeFi exchange Pangolin recommended that users withdraw liquidity from the platform.
“Due to some disturbances in the Hedera network, Hashport has suspended its bridge and we recommend that anyone holding HTS tokens withdraw funds immediately. We will update the information as soon as we have more information,” Pangolin said on Twitter.
HBAR said that work is already underway with affected customers and the company is monitoring further developments.
One of the Hedera projects, SaucerSwap Labs, stated that there is a possibility of an exploit. It can be directed to the decompilation process in smart contracts. The firm also claims that the attacker has already attacked the Pangolin and HeliSwap decentralized exchange pools, but was unable to clarify if any tokens were stolen.
