- Mention of digital assets returned to the company’s website
- Earlier, the co-founder of the fund published an extensive post in which he stated that Paradigm is committed to cryptocurrency.
- But before that, the company tried to distance itself from the “problem” sector
- Instead, the firm was going to invest in AI startups.
At the end of May, we wrote that the venture capital investment company Paradigm shifted the focus of investments to the “frontier sectors”. Prior to this, the portfolio of the company included exclusively cryptocurrency startups.
The news leaked to the media from an insider was never commented on by the company. Later, in June, Paradigm introduced a new Ethereum client.
Later, the company noted that they intend to invest in AI. Allegedly, artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency should not be positioned as competitors. And these are complementary sectors.
In the same post, project co-founder Matt Huang stated that the company is more committed to cryptocurrencies than ever before.
And so, when experts started talking about the beginning of a bull-run in the market, the company became interested in digital assets again. Users noticed that the mention of cryptocurrency was returned to the project website:

The situation caused laughter and a flood of memes from the audience, and under the discussion thread, Huang was asked what Paradigm would focus on next. And whether the mention of digital assets will remain in the event of the next recession.
