Kraken NFT Marketplace Leaving Beta
Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has announced that its non-fungible token (NFT) market is out of beta. Along with the launch, the NFT platform highlighted that it has expanded the number of NFT collections. The platform noted that it has increased support for collections from 70 to over 250. According to Kraken, it will continue to add even more collections to its marketplace.

In addition to expanding the collection, the company also announced the addition of support for the Polygon Network, emphasizing that popular Reddit collectible avatars will now also be supported by the marketplace.
In the announcement, the NFT trading platform also revealed that it will not charge gas fees to its users when buying or selling NFTs on its platform. However, in a disclaimer at the bottom of the post, the marketplace noted that gas fees would still be charged when transferring assets to and from their platform.

As the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) targeted cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase in a lawsuit, community members began showing their support for the trading platform by issuing their “Stand with Crypto” NFTs and posting a shield icon on their Twitter. profiles.

Back in April, when the collection was launched, the NFT had just 15,000 mints and 7,000 owners, according to the NFT marketplace OpenSea. The collection now has over 142,000 mints and over 52,000 owners, and as the exchange’s legal battle with the SEC intensifies, the number of NFTs is on the rise.
Many also expressed their support for the move by tweeting shield icons, and some even shared images of Coinbase shields.

Bitcoin NFT Label Project Enables Larger Files
The Bitcoin ecosystem project New Bitcoin City aims to compete with Bitcoin Ordinals by offering smart contracts and larger files. According to the project, files written through its “Inscription Village” can exceed 4 megabytes, the limit for ordinal inscriptions.

The platform highlighted that the Azuki Spirit DAO wallpaper, with a file size of 6.9 MB, was already signed into the Bitcoin blockchain back in May.

On June 7, NFT Serenade announced that it was offering unique “digital copies” of his band’s recently released album, Council Skies. The release includes the full audio playback of the album and what they called a “public seal of ownership” that resides on the blockchain.
