- Owners of Solana Saga smartphones will receive additional benefits, the MixMob team said.
The developers of the gaming platform MixMob announced the release of the MXM management token. Early users of the project will be able to qualify for an airdrop, the team said in a statement.
On February 1, 2024, MXM will be listed on the Bybit cryptocurrency exchange. The project will distribute 63 million tokens to early users of the beta version of the game, as well as buyers of MixBots non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
In addition, the team is going to launch a new season of Racer1 with a “race to earn money” game mechanic. The game combines the racing genre with card battles. Racer1 players can train and customize MixBots, as well as participate in competitions.
According to Decrypt, shortly before this event, MixMob held a public sale of NFTs, during which users bought 9,000 tokens in 12 minutes. The initiative generated $2.25 million in revenue for the platform.
Note, MixMob attracted more than $15 million in several investment rounds. The project received funding from Arthur Hayes, as well as Solana Ventures, DeFiance Capital, IOSG, Shima Capital, Maven Capital and other venture funds.
MixMob CEO Simon Vieira said that owners of Solana Saga smartphones will receive additional benefits, including an airdrop of tokens. Presumably, the distribution of awards will take place in the first quarter of 2024.
We have repeatedly reported about airdrops of coins for owners of the Saga smartphone. At the end of 2023, they received rewards in the BONK token, the price of which increased by almost 1300% in 30 days. A few days later, the Access Protocol team announced a new airdrop, and Saga sales increased several times.
