Two technology companies Fujitsu and Mitsubishi, as well as payment giant Mizuho are planning create a new Ryugukoku project. It will serve as a new social infrastructure for the digital transformation of enterprises.
Companies involved in the creation of the project will combine all their services. Mizuho will provide the infrastructure for the coins, Mitsubishi will provide the Web2 financial processing power, and Sompo Japan Insurance will create the insurance and risk policy.
The project will be led by former Square Enix executive and JP Games CEO Hajime Tabachi.
According to the developers, Ryugukoku is a Metaverse infrastructure that includes elements of an alternative world online role-playing game based on a unique fantasy worldview of its own.
Also on the platform it will be possible to use identity authentication, various payments, data infrastructure, insurance. All this thanks to cooperation with leading Japanese financial institutions. It is possible that the developers will be able to expand the economic zone on a global scale.
