- They strive to keep important shots
- And for this they will be given bonuses to their salaries.
- Sam Bankman-Fried is not eligible for a raise
Bankrupt exchange FTX plans to launch a bonus program for its employees. They asked the court about this in their last statement. The company is ready to spend $4 million to keep its key experts in place.
The new head of the crypto exchange, John J. Ray III, planned to pay bonuses ranging from 17% to 94% of the usual salary. Bonuses will be received first of all by specialists in programming and accountants. In particular, experts in Python, Rust and Flutter.
“John J. Ray II and the new leaders require the expertise, intensive assistance and loyalty of experienced FTX employees. These workers and contractors have, in some cases, unique skills. Such personnel would be difficult to replace. Keeping employees where they are will be critical to the goals of the company’s debtors.”
The document specifies that directors or top managers of the company will not receive bonuses. Also, the increase is not allowed to the unfortunate founder Sam Bankman-Fried, members of his family, as well as those employees who are suspected of wrongdoing.
The petition will be considered by a Delaware court at a hearing on March 29.
