Bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX announced about plans to restart the platform. The company is currently in initial talks with investors to restart its international exchange.
FTX CEO John Jay Ray III stated:
“The company has begun the process of engaging stakeholders to reboot the FTX.com exchange”
Two days ago, on June 26, FTX filed for bankruptcy. According to him, the new management of the exchange managed to return $ 7 billion in liquid assets, which is quite enough to pay off most of the firm’s obligations to clients.
FTX continues to try to rebuild its international cryptocurrency exchange even as its reputation continues to suffer. The new executives have revealed how they say nearly $9 billion in customer funds was stolen before the company collapsed last year.
The native FTT token reacted with an increase of approximately 15%. At the time of writing, it is trading at $1.44.
