- This is evidenced by an extract from the salary of the new CEO of the company
- According to her, he spent 6.7 hours working on the FTX 2.0 project.
An extract from the payroll of John Ray III, the new CEO of FTX, leaked online this week. And, judging by these documents, the company is actively working on the 2.0 project, which may indicate plans to restart the platform soon. According to the papers John Ray III spent 6.7 hours for various tasks related to “restarting FTX”, “advancing plans 2.0” and “restarting the distribution system”:

Prior to this, the new management of FTX has repeatedly teased users with news of a possible restart. For example, we previously reported that a plan to reorganize the platform attracted the attention of Tribe Capital.
But at the same time, Ray III himself did not give a single direct answer to questions about the possible return of the exchange to the market. His only statement that can be drawn to this topic was made back in January:
“Everything is in front of you. If we have a way to move forward, we will study it carefully.”
The company has no money, but only for creditors
Interestingly, for 6.7 hours of work, John Ray III earned $6,750 ($1,008 per hour). And before that, at the end of November last year, he claimed to receive $ 1,300 an hour. This time, either the tasks were not too difficult, or the bonus was removed from the new CEO.
And in February, we reported that in two months, John Ray III earned about $690,000. What can I say, at least one person definitely benefited from the bankruptcy of the exchange.
