The cryptocurrency division of the investment giant Fidelity Investments has opened access to the Fidelity Crypto service for trading digital assets. This is reported The Block.

Retail clients will be able to trade Bitcoin and Ethereum without fees directly through the platform. The spread will not exceed 1%.

Previously, access to the service was limited to a waiting list. To use the marketplace, new users must create a Fidelity Brokerage account.

In the future, the list of available cryptocurrencies will be expanded.

Fidelity released its product to the public without an official announcement. According to sources familiar with the matter, the full launch of the platform occurred within a few weeks.
