- Under the threat of stopping the entire Ukrainian cryptocurrency market
Top crypto exchanges have stopped operations with Ukrainian cards. They stated that they are currently unable to withdraw funds.
The largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance confirmed the information on Twitter:
The founder of the Ukrainian exchange Kuna, Mikhail Chobanyan, also reported the problem:
“Regarding the input and output of the hryvnia from the stock exchange. Yes, there really is such a problem. And yes, everyone has it. I’ll try to give more details tomorrow. In short, we are looking for a way out of the situation, the shutdown of the entire Ukrainian crypto market is under threat.” — he declared.
Representatives of Whitebit also reported difficulties.
“Now UAH withdrawal via Visa/Mastercard is temporarily unavailable. There is no exact date for the resumption of the operation” — said the support service of the exchange.
Some platforms have stated that alternative withdrawal methods can be used. For example, Binance has advised customers to use P2P transfers, which are not currently blocked. And Whitebit advised to use another payment system — GEO Pay.
