EVM RollApp uses Ethermint protocol and stack RDK by Dymension. According to the announcement, this enables the deployment of EVM-compatible smart contracts with access to the customization options, low latency, and easy loading provided by the solution.

To pay for EVM gas, RollApp uses EVMOS tokens, which through the interoperability protocol IBC are circulating throughout the Cosmos ecosystem.

The EVM RollApp test network will publish transaction data on Celestia’s Mocha testnet, and Dymension Hub will provide communication between all infrastructure components.

To demonstrate the capabilities and interface of the solution, the project developers launched a fork of Uniswap v2. Users can exchange various test tokens on the platform.

Recall that in March the Rollkit project introduced an infrastructure structure to support rollups on the bitcoin blockchain.
