- The release is scheduled for July 26th.
- Ducati is also partnering with Web3 Pro for the project.
Italian motorcycle company Ducati launch NFT circulation in partnership with XRP Ledger. The firm plans to create a digital collector’s badge, which is a video sequence of all the Ducati logos that have adorned motorcycle tanks since 1946.
To receive NFT, users must register on website within seven days of launch on 26 July. Those who receive the first collector’s item will have the privilege of accessing future releases of the project, which will be deployed using XRPL technology, the company said in a statement.
The site also says:
“In the coming months, we plan to create new NFT collections and opportunities to participate in new forms of activity specific to the Web3 universe.”
Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali stressed the importance of Web3 innovation in order to provide brand fans with an immersive experience.
“Entering the Web3 world is another way to get closer to the dukat community and expand the range of services we offer to them. It is also an opportunity to meet and interact with a new community of NFT enthusiasts, where they can collect digital assets that we will develop in the future,” commented Domenicali.
Recall that earlier Google allowed the sale of NFTs in applications based on the Play Store.
