The financial conglomerate Deutsche Bank announced the termination of activities in Russia due to the war in Ukraine.

“We strongly condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and support the German government and its allies in defending our democracy and freedom,” the statement said.
The Deutsche Bank team has announced a significant reduction in its presence in Russia since 2014. Based on the press release, now the conglomerate will curtail the remaining business in the territory of the Russian Federation. There will be no new projects.
We previously reported that Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase are the first among major US banks announced their withdrawal from Russia.
