The Polygon team created a Web3 platform for personalizing NFT Debit Mastercard debit cards from the financial application Hi.
“Introducing a new Polygon-powered platform that allows Hi members to create an NFT using their favorite image — be it a holiday photo, favorite pet, or online profile — and use it to customize their look Web3-Mastercard cards,” the statement.
Using the NFT Debit Mastercard, users can spend cryptocurrencies and fiat money in more than 90 million merchants around the world. The card also has a cashback system up to 10% and a number of other benefits.
The card is currently available in 25 European countries, as well as the UK. It is thanks to the partnership with Hi that Polygon is expanding its presence in the field of non-fungible tokens.
Prior to this, the Starbucks coffee chain launched on the project platform a beta version of the NFT-based loyalty program. Polygon also expanded its cooperation with the largest marketplace of non-fungible tokens based on Solana – Magic Eden.
