We have a new speaker next in line – and this is Darren Wu, Head of Content at BitKeep. As part of the online marathon on Encrypted Conference 2023 he presented factors and incentives that, in theory, could help attract an additional 1 billion users of the service.
Note that BitKeep is a decentralized non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet. The company previously entered into a major agreement with Bitget, raising an additional $30 million in investment.
Not by one single storage
“Our focus is on how to break the stereotype and the ‘good wallet’ stereotype,” Darren said.
According to Wu, BitKeep focuses its efforts on providing the user with the maximum experience within a single service. This includes access to the NFT market, a built-in dApp browser, and much more.
How can you attract 1 billion users?
Wu sees several factors contributing to this, namely:
- cross-chain interoperability;
- convenient user interface;
- high security;
- education.
Wu attributed the interaction between networks and customizable Web3 services to the first factor. In his opinion, this is the key to the further development of both the service and the ecosystem as a whole.
At the same time, this is not possible without prioritizing the further strengthening of security measures. In terms of specific steps, these are the DESM mechanism, biometric authentication, and harm coverage programs.
