“It looks like we are being removed from the store even after updating our app, to make it clear that digital content is not unlocked when users receive a tip,” the project representatives explained.
The company is preparing to file an appeal due to “misapplication” of the technical manual.
In mid-June, Apple warned Damus to remove the app due to its content monetization feature. The so-called zaps help users get Satoshi for viewing posts. The initiative is implemented through the Bitcoin Lightning Network micropayment network.
Well-known members of the crypto community came to the defense of the project, including the ex-CEO of Twitter and the head of Block, Jack Dorsey.

In the same month, the blockchain game Axie Infinity became available on the App Store. So far, the application can only be downloaded in Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Venezuela, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam.
