
Large institutional investors are still “staying away” from digital assets due to high volatility. This was stated by the managing director of JPMorgan Asset Management Jared Gross in a conversation with Bloomberg.
In his opinion, bitcoin has not become an alternative to gold and a hedge against inflation, as many had hoped. For most large institutional investors, cryptocurrencies as an asset class “virtually don’t exist,” Gross added.

In December, JPMorgan analysts found that the proportion of US adults who have ever transferred funds to a cryptocurrency-related account increased from 3% in 2020 to 13% as of June 2022.
