Cryptocurrency venture firm Credibly Neutral received investment of $5.5 million. The project was funded by a group of investors, which in the majority consists of the co-founders of the Solana and Polygon blockchains. Also participating in the funding round was Ethereum co-founder and ConsenSys founder Joe Lubin.
Credibly Neutral was founded by Coinbase employee Viktor Bunin and Aztec Protocol COO Lisa Cuesta Bunin. The company is located in Brooklyn and is engaged in early investments. The startup plans to invest between $50,000 and $250,000 in various protocols, infrastructure, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) cryptocurrency projects.
Also, as a subject for investment, the company considers blockchains of the first and second levels, DeFi projects, developer tools, analytics tools, and the rails necessary to convert fiat to cryptocurrency and vice versa.
Lisa Bunin spoke in more detail about the goal of the project:
“We want to invest in teams and communities that create protocols, tools and products that enable open access and fuel innovation”
Of note, Credibly Neutral’s investors included cryptocurrency veterans such as Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nilewal, Solana co-founders Anatoly Yakovenko and Raj Gokal, and former Coinbase Chief Product Officer Surojit Chatterjee.
