Question answer

1. How difficult is it to get all the necessary licenses to issue a card in Ukraine? What are the main challenges your team faced?

The card is not quite released in Ukraine. More precisely, it will be produced in the European Economic Area, but for Ukrainians. This means that a Ukrainian can receive a card both on the territory of Ukraine and abroad. It is not limited only to Ukrainians, but is strongly directed at them, because Ukrainians now have a problem with obtaining such crypto cards on the territory of Ukraine. Another interesting thing is that we are preparing integration with the Diya portal, which means that the process of obtaining a cryptocard will be very simple. This function is not yet in the application, but it will appear there in the near future, all the technical details have already been done.

The most difficult part we faced when issuing a card was getting permission to issue cards and be able to use them. This is due to bureaucracy and regulation, which requires the fulfillment of all requirements related to the international funds transfer service and the regulator that controls the financial services market. However, from a technical point of view, all moments are absolutely simple.

2. How many cards are allocated for the initial issue?

We planned to issue 5,000 pieces. That is, the very first 5,000 people will receive a card for free.

3. Now many exchanges have suspended direct deposits and withdrawals. Is this a problem?

The problem with depositing and withdrawing funds on exchanges concerns only the hryvnia and work with Ukrainian bank cards issued in hryvnia. Therefore, it does not affect the receipt of the card in any way.

4. Can I pay with your card in the store? What are the commissions?

According to settlements in stores, it will be possible to pay using cryptocurrency at any outlet that supports the MasterCard payment network. The commission depends on the territory, it can be from 0% to 1%. For Ukrainians, we plan to reduce the commission on the territory of Ukraine down to zero.
