22nd of May. Bitcoin Pizza Day, Hot Wheels Fast & Furious NFT Collection Launch, and SweatCoin AMA Session
So, let’s start with the main thing. Just today, May 22, 13 years ago, a Florida resident bought two Papa John’s pizzas for 10,000 BTC. At that time, it was only about $25 (although he was offered to exchange bitcoins for $41). Now this is just a whopping amount of almost $267 million. You can find out the full story here.
Also today start sale of tokens from the Hot Wheels collection called “Fast & Furious” on the Flow marketplace. Among the NFTs you can see the famous Charger Toretto, Camaro SS from the second part and HONDA S2000.

May, 23rd. Last day of EDCON-2023 in Podgorica, launch of LUKSO mainnet, Opulous MFT platform and Metafluence metaverse
On Tuesday, the EDCON-2023 conference in the capital of Montenegro ends. On the last day there will be some interesting performances, for example, representatives of Me and iMe X, as well as some other projects. Details on link.
Also on this day, LUKSO’s mainnet is expected to be released. The blockchain is based on Ethereum PoS but plans to launch with an initial set of Genesis validators that anyone can join. Read more in post project administration.
Back on Tuesday will be launched new trading platform from Opulous “Music Fungible Tokens” (MFT). On the site, users will be able to buy NFTs from popular music artists with a number of preferences, for example, in the form of a share of the royalties.
And finally, the release of the Metafluence metaverse. This is a huge virtual city where you can buy real estate. The project aims to connect influencers, audiences and big brands.
May 24th. OGGY listing on Poloniex, NBX summit in Poland and launch of NFTb gaming hub
Earlier, we already talked about the addition of meme-coins on Huobi and Poloniex. Apparently, Justin Sun did not shelve it. From Wednesday in Poloniex trading pairs will appear OGGY token based on the cartoon character of the same name.
Also on Wednesday, May 24, the Next Block Expo summit in Warsaw kicks off. Among the speakers are representatives of Binance, BNB Chain, ConsenSys. Ticket prices start at $79. More on link.
Back on this day is expected will be launched NFTb platform for gaming NFT trading and socialization of gamers. The project will bring together studios, publishers, users, DAOs and digital artists in order to accelerate the integration of tokens into game worlds.
May 25th. First MFT sale on Opulous
On Thursday will be presented the first MFT collection on the Opulous platform. Details are promised to be announced a little later, after the release of the service.
26 of May. Special tournaments from WAM
Friday starts a 4-week event from WAM – special tournaments. This is a series of events with a prize pool in BTC, ETH, DOGE and other cryptocurrencies. To participate and receive prizes, you need to complete tasks and earn achievements in different games.
May 27th. Aeronity Galaxy One
On Saturday will pass interesting event from Aeternity. The event will take place in Burgscheidungen, Germany. The party program includes musical performances and dinner for community members.
May 28. Completion of hackathons from Request and Gnosis
