Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com recently launched an update to its DeFi wallet service to support fiat-to-crypto purchases in more countries and three new tokens.
In a blog post published on May 16, the company announced the addition of Polygon (MATIC), USD Coin (USDC), and Dai (DAI) to Crypto.com Pay, a fiat-to-cryptocurrency exchange service that allows you to make purchases. cryptocurrencies with a credit or debit card.
The trio of new tokens join Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and Crypto.com’s own CRO as the only tokens currently available for purchase with a fee. CRO can now be purchased on the Crypto.com Cronus blockchain or on the Ethereum network. According to the post, support for additional tokens “will be added soon.”
Crypto.com also announced support for Pay in more countries, increasing the number of countries that can use the service to buy crypto directly from the company’s DeFi wallet app to 108.

The latest update, mentioned in the blog post, includes optimizations to the Pay interface to make shopping easier with fewer taps.
The exchange recently launched a virtual assistant built on the GPT API to help clients, becoming one of the first adopters of the ChatGPT technology among cryptocurrency exchanges.

According to Cointelegraph, Crypto.com VP Abhi Bisaria is “optimistic” about the use of AI in the crypto industry, but intends to pilot the AI assistant while the company considers user feedback.
Meanwhile, companies in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space are looking to get in on the AI hype. Web3 BlockGPT, for example, recently launched a “chat earning” scheme whereby users of its BEP-20 token platform can be rewarded for interacting with the company’s AI models like ChatGPT.
Popular cryptocurrency exchange Binance has also launched its own ChatGPT-based offering called “Sensei”, a virtual educational assistant integrated into the company’s consumer education academy.
